2010 Peugeot 308 seat belt alarm keeps going off

Even with no one in the back the seatbelt alarm keeps going off. With people in the back and with seat belts worn the same things happen. Local garage cannot solve, recommend going back to Peugeot. Any clues?

Agreed,
Seat belt sensors run up to the air bag/pre tensioner unit and then to the BSI.
So P.P diagnostic global scan would be my first check.
A global scan checks just about everything electrical.
