Matrix is fine., no airlocks etc.
Has been checked by garage by mechanic is now at a loss.
Can go on an hour long journey and temperature gauge doesn't rise above 70

That was one of the first things that we changed when we started getting heater problem about 2 years ago. That is why the mechanic is at a loss.

It could have failed in 2 yrs and be jammed open . Also check the temp of thermostat fitted could be wrong .
