Cd player won't work

2009 Peugeot 308 1.6 sport

Year: 2009
Variant: 1.6 sport

I bought a 308 Sport today, but every cd I put in ejects straight away. I've tried the functions and no joy, also it says mp3 player but I don't see any sockets? I'm not an expert on cars, so bear that in mind if I'm missing something simple!

I think you need a new cd player.From memory I think the connection for the mp3 player is in the glove box or in a small compartment to the right of the steering wheel
