2008 Peugeot 308 water leek in boot

I yesterday checked my tyres inc the spare were in good order but when I lifted the spare wheel out the huge wheel well I found water at the bottom so I dried it all that i could see then today I went back to see if it was wet again and it is so I striped the boot and found water is coming into the boot inline with the top of the drivers side(right hand side) light cluster there is a ball type clip there but Its in the wrong place to leek where it is but that's where its dripping into the boot from so it must b higher than that, I have grommets for rear window in both sides so I silicone them both in used a watering can its still coming in, and one have any suggestions? all the joints are sealed I don't see any way water can get into the outer skin then run down inside the steel boxing then drip into the boot, is its inside the boxing I cant get my eye in to see what's above it, but on the outside there's nothing there, please help!! pug 308 hdi 08 plate.

make sure it isn't from your rear washer pipe.If the car has had a repair in the past there is a possibility that it could be poor panel sealing but reseal the rear lamp to eliminate that as the cause

its not washer pipe, a negbour tiped a watering can on the top corner of the rear window and I was in the boot there is a fast drip coming from inside the metal so between the painted outside metal and the inside there is about 2-3 inch gap I can get my hand up there but cannot find any panel joines as to how the water can get to the inside of the side boxing, if you could find a 308 to have a look at you will see the panel joins are smooth can see there are no gaps for water to get in, could it be under the gutter plastics? I guess that's just a grove in the roof could there be a join under there, but saying that the head lining is all dry as is the top above parcel shelf so gutter can be ruled out as can the areal, also the washer pipes and wires are all dry,
there is nothing around the light cluster to leek theres a ball joint at the top iv silicone it in where the wires go to the plug is a small hole with a seal around that and after the watering can it all looks dry around the hole so isn't that also its higher than the hole, so I just don't know, have to buy a can opner and look inside the structure/ steel panelling im not sure what to call it.
