Hi

New to the site so will thanks in advance to any help. My ABS and ESP lights came on, got the car checked and told it was the rear drivers side sensor, almost fell over with cost to fix!!! only had the car two months and had a few issues (why did I trade my Golf for this!!!) anyway, crying over, can I do this job myself or could the sensor just need a clean? I am sure I will have more questions going by the amount of issues the Pugs seem to have.

Thanks again.

Cleaning can often fix , worth a try.

Thanks whittingehame, have you any experience of tackling this job? Would I need to take the whole braking system apart to get at the sensor? I have not found much info about how to do this. Cheers

Never done one on that car . Sometimes it can be a wiring / connection fault .You can get dirt cutting down the gap at sensor also causing fault .Occasionally a good blast with a can of brake cleaner washes any muck out and clears air gap , fixing the fault .
