2007 Peugeot 308 bogging down at 2000 rpm

When I have just started the car, pull away, I change to 2nd gear and as soon as the car reaches 2000 rpm it feels like I have no power at all even if I have my foot flat to the floor, once it manages to get to 3000 rpm it starts to pick up normally

it could be a timing issue if no light comes on.
