2000 Peugeot 308 anti pollution fault

ANTI POLLUTION FAULT.
This appears to be a regular occurance with peugouts. I had a 307 hdi kept showing the above fault warning which resulted in loosing power especially on motorways. Put me, my passengers and other road users in danger.
After going to general repait garages no one was able to repair. Eventually went to the dealers garage. Had to get 4 new fuel injectors. Cost over £1800. My neighbour has a 2 yr old 308 petrol (14000 miles). The Anti pollution fault now on his car and is loosing power.
Peugeot has a big problem here. My peugeot dealer would not take responsiblity just said it was wear and tear. I have lost any faith I have and will be considering changing to a different make when I decide to change.

They use that engine in so many marks now,ford ,volvo,to name but a couple,In my experiance most manufacturers are having issues due to the drive to meet emission standards.
