2008 Peugeot 308 cooling fan

Car: Peugeot 308
Year: 2008
Variant: SW
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Cooling fan stay's on all the time, engine is running and continues to run after engine is turned off for 5 minutes. What do I need to do to fix this?

There will be a temperature sensor somewhere which controls this function, possibly in the top of the radiator. Try unplugging this to see if the fan stops, if so the sensor needs replacing.

Take it the coolant level is o.k ? You can also get the fan running due to the particulate filter regenerating , especially if car used for short journeys .
