Well...firstly this is my daughter's car.
her boyfriend desided to fit a new cd unit. he created a short somehow and the car had no instrument lights, but it was running, he tried all fuses replacing 2, still nothing. He has tried to reset the bsi unit, but now the instument panel lights up, but the windows and central locking wont work and it wont start.
She's having panic attacks at present and main dealer wants a kings ransom to look at it. Any help greatly appricated.
Regards B.

check all the main fuses under the bonnet. its possible that he's cooked the bsi and/or ecu. a bit far fetched.... but possible

Have you plugged the old radio back in?
