2003 Peugeot 307 please help!!

replaced two front tyres otherday since then ive had problem with vibration on steering wheel at around 70mph...took car back to garage n they balanced front and back wheels again and said there ok...now its slightly better BUT.... when i brake at around 70 mph or above i get vibration on steering wheel?? anything less than 70mph it brakes smooth PLEASE HELP GUYS ANY IDEAS

Shouldn't vibrate . Check wheels / tyres for any twists or buckles by jacking up and spinning or swap back wheels to front and test car to see if any difference .You could also have a brake fault , possibly sticking pads or warped discs etc. If still not right , check steering / susp / bushes for wear .


If " it was fine before i got nw front tyres " looks as if that is your problem .Correct size , fitted correctly , no twists or buckled / damaged wheels ? Incorrect tyres could affect ABS .

Your front brake discs need to be replaced!

You must also replace your front brake discs together with your brake pads.

have your tracking checked. but if that dont help change your track rod ends drop links.

go back to garage and ask them to check tyres no problem before why should you have problem now.
