Key fob not working

my fan belt snapped. Ijumped the car off and drove home got new fan belt fitted battery was dead so tried jumping it no luck. There is a button in centre of the dash with a key symbol on and now a flashing light. The key fob will not work the central locking so think imobiliser is on? Please help with any info

the key will need reprogramming to the car as yu have lost power to the car by running the car battery low there are people out there that can come to you and programme the key at your home in the yellow pages but do ask for quotes first and if there is a call out charge to

did you wake the bsi correctly after fitting new battery?

need doors shut and window open. Once battery reconnected turn on head lights then ignition.Its worth a try!
