THE GEARBOX IS GOING ON MY 307 AND HAVE FOUND A COUPLE REPLACEMENTS, A MORE LOCAL PLACE TO MYSELF HAS GOT A GTI 1.6 HYDRAULIC GEARBOX WAS WONDERING IF IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO FIT THIS IN MY CAR AS MINE IS ONLY A STANDARD 1.6?? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
(ALSO IF YOU HAVE A 307 YOURSELF BE WAREY AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY QUITE A LOT OF GARAGES/BREAKER YARDS & PEUGEOT MECHANICS THAT THE GEARBOX GOING IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM!! - IF ITS A KNOCKING SOUND ITS THE DIFF IF ITS A WHIRRING/GRINDING SOUND ITS YOUR GEAR BOX BEARING & MAY NEED FULL REPLACEMENT!!)

as long as it is from the same model and it looks identical then the gearbox will fit straight in,only thing being a gti box the ratios might be different
