2003 Peugeot 307 electric mirrors,wont adjust on switch

Mirrors open out ,as they should when you turn the ignition on,but they will not adjust on the switch so i have to get out of the car,and adjust them manually.The car had this problem,since we bought the car 18 months ago.The dealer had the car back to check it,and they said the switch was fine,but couldnt fix it.Any ideas?? I could really do with some answers,Thanks.

Just got the problem sorted now.

For some reason the mirrors were set to manual in the BSI. Had it changed by a friend from Peugeot garage.

Wonder how they got set to manual? Maybe something got corrupted when the battery has been disconnected/connected (strange that was the only thing) or maybe it's had a new BSI and wasn't configured properly.

Possible cause is faulty door module.Do the mirrors fold back when you lock the door with plip.If mirrors are adjusted manually this can upset the ecu as it loses mirror position
