2004 Peugeot 307 abs warning light

Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.0 HDI ESTATE
Categories: Leaks & Noises
ABS Warning light stays on (instrument panel) & "ABS FAULT" displays in multi-function panel.
Is this a Peugeot garage job or can I check anything?

most good garages have the equipment to read the abs codes, get them read then decide if its a job you can do yourself.have you had an impact on any wheel or work done on the suspension as even changing a wheel can knock or shock wheel sensor

at a guess i would say its probably one of the rear sensors offside is favourite and it is a coherence fault due to corrosion build up behind sensor which alters the gap between sensor and sonic wheel. Get a read though to make sure!!
