2003 Peugeot 307 cooling

Variant: 1.6sw petrol auto
Hi, temperature keeps on fluctuating between 95 - 100 C slowly in heavy traffic.Sometimes it takes too long on 100 C before decreasing.Would like to know if this is normal,if not what is wrong?

Switch seems to be working ok and fan cutting in .A lot of different fan switches had the temp stamped on them , usually between 90-98 degrees. Dont know if fitting new switch might help or let fan cut in sooner .Maybe someone else on board will have more info on your car if this is ok / normal .
