Transmission problem (automatic gear fault

Get it scanned and see what shows .

i have scanned it twice and one person said its the solnoid valve, and the other say no it not that, its a mechanical structure of the gearbox

What is the actual fault you are getting / asking about ? what fault code showed ?

well when i am stop on a hill i am getting automatic gear fault when driving off..

the last person checked it said that the pressure was 2 low reading at 2.35 - 2.55 bars however the reading suppose to be 2.7 bars. he adjusted the pressure valve thing and brought it up to 2.55 - 2.65 and well the overall performance of the car power is better but i am still getting the automatic gear fault, but less frequent

i wasnt around to know the exact error code he was picking up.....

Why did he not adjust it to the 2.7 bar it should be if , as you state ,there was an improvement after increasing to 2.65. What about ATF and filter , when was that last checked / changed ?

suspect the pressure modulation solenoid valves where changed along with the fluid. Its good practice to also replace the pressure sensor and update ecu software.If the fluid was black and smelt burnt then new box required. there is no manual adjustment for fluid pressure!

Would be well advised to take "paulieone "s advice and find out if what he suggests was carried out or what exactly was done on car .

i am considering replacing the soloid valves but would like to know if someone can explaint to me if the following information can be clutch related or just soliod valves

when i start my car, put it in drive and press the accelerate the car revssss and pulls of real slow. if is up a will well.. its even more worse getting automatic gear fault on the display screen

i have driven it in manual. as soon as i accelerate on gear one, it starts to rev and i change to gear 2 and it pulls of without the automatic gear fault problem

it seems to drive alot better changing from 1 to 2 and quickly when pulling of.

is this a sign of clutches or can it be the valves.

if its sign of clutches i wont waste my money on changing the valves.

please can someone assist
