2002 Peugeot 307 outer cv joints

Twist/ turn and check for excessive wear / movement at joint .Check for clicking noise on full lock etc. etc. This explains other symptoms,

if the noise happens on left turn it is the right cv joint,if it happens on right turn it is the left cv joint,check both the cv gaiters visually for damage or splits and leaking cv grease
