Car wont start or turnover, no warning lights nothing

i went to start my car, it started for about 3 seconds then cut out, when i went to start it again nothing is happening, battery is fine but just nothing is happening,can anyone help?

hi well when i got it recoverd the man checked wires and fuses and said they where ok, and he said it could be the switch, will this cost alot do you know, i have also been told only the main dealer can do because of codes?? is this true? thanks

you should be able to swap key blade with one supplied with ignition switch this way you will not have the hassle of having key learnt

you should be able to take the car to an indepentant garage to get your fault codes read,with regards to ignition switch,it may be part of the ignition barrell in which case you would have to get one with the same key number,best thing to do is pull the steering cowling off and check the wiring going to switch and make sure you are getting power going through the switch when closed,if this ok then check you are getting an ignition live to your starter motor
