2002 Peugeot 307 warning message

The message comes up,unblock diesel filter and engine light comes on, I looked in the hand book and it says drive at 35 mph for about 5 minutes, this does clear the warning lights and every thing seems normal, but it happens every time i drive the car,is this something that i should have checked out or is the actions described above the answer.
