2006 Peugeot 307 corrosion

There appears to be some "corrosion" affecting the fuse box and Im told i need a new wiring loom.
Anyone got any ideas how much this should cost and where the best place is to have it done?
I'm also told that there are no known problems of this sort with this model (06 plate) - unless any of you out there know better!!

Get a second opinion and quote from a reputable auto electrician re .problem .

Thanks so far - getting another opinion is what i intended to do. I never think one is enough. About how much should a full rewire cost so that i don't get ripped off?
