2005 Peugeot 307 air bag fault

If your car is the pre face lift 2005 307 the airbag light should go out on its own once the fault is resolved. With the Peugeots 9 times out of 10 it is caused by knocking the cables under the seat. I would have a good look under each seat and make sure that none of the cables are taught or been knocked or pulled on anything. Give all the connectors a good push together and see if the light goes out once the ignition is switched back on. Do not disconnect any of the connectors with the igntion on or battery connected. If the light doesn't go off then you will need to get it scanned witha proper machine, if you are in Birmimgham i can do this for you.

Hi, I currently work in cheltenham and do not live that far from birmingham. I also have the air bag fault problem with my Peogeot 307 1.4 hdi. It’s a 2002 model.
