2003 Peugeot 307 lights come on after 15m parking -> flat battery. high beam fuses out it takes 45m to come on -> flat battery.

15 min after parking the lights come on and the battery is flattened. If I remove the high beam fuses it takes 45 min to occur. The ignition comes on as well.

Could be a faulty COMM2000 (stalk control unit)

I wondered about that. The harness was replaced in warranty ( we bought new) but the local agent was skeptical about the suggestion when I made it. They narrowed it down to the BSI but all the affected systems are up in that steering wheel cluster. Thanks.

sounds like a data fault .check data wires from Comm to under bonnet fuse box

The first car I ever had that did it. I've had plenty.
We are not game to investigate because it now ain't broke.
I will, however, keep theses two suggestions in mind for future problems when they arise.
