2007 Peugeot 307 when starting the car it judders and then dies, 307 1.4 57 reg.

It only does it first thing and is ok for the rest of the day, the revs fluctuate and then everything cuts out, electrics and engine.

Could try changing the engine coolant temp sensor .

This shows on a Peugeot 307 . Engine coolant sensor sends signal to the ECU that engine is cold and requires more fuel , like operating the choke on an old car .
