2005 Peugeot 307 2.0 16v Window

Hi
I have changed the window regulator and the window goes all the way down no problem
but when I send it back to the top it reaches top then comes back down to half way
anyone got any ideas what's going on

Try resetting window .Key on , window fully down , window fully up , hold up button for a few seconds , key off and out , key on ,

Made an error in post . When down , hold for 10 secs , likewise when up . Try that .

Tried it but when I take the window to the top it immediately comes back down to half way

Is your car battery o.k ? Might sound strange but on some cars a low battery can cause window to drop but usually both fronts .Could try a long shot , start car , run engine at fast idle and try reset again . Then with car still running , check window .

Tried all of the above still no joy
Do you think if I undo the battery with the windows down and put the battery back on it might reboot the problem

Are you sure you got the correct part , there are quite a few variations with different functions .

It was on other makes , not Peugeots that my suggestions usually worked .
