Vehicle Shutting off when stop, have to put in manual to move off, then it show in Automatic transmission still. Bring to the Mechanic now them telling me transmission burn up. AM frustrated and dont have any funds to buy a transmission right now.

You could always get a second opinion and a fault code scan if you are not happy with , or doubt their findings
