My car is whining when i put my foot on accelerator and knocks when on full lock to the right . It also comes on and off power slightly on low revs could this be prop shaft?

Nope,
Front wheel drive so no prop,
though the knock "could" be a worn CV joint.
And get it scanned for codes as to the power problem.
