2006 Peugeot 307 electrical problem

Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.6 16V Petrol
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
After driving my 307 for a short time (5 mins) then come to a stop, the engine revs decrease and bounce back up again constantly but this happens more when the lights and heater are on at night. I have just changed the sparks plugs and filters (still need to change the oil and filter) But wondering if this would be a problem with the battery or alternator? No warning lights have come on the dash!

Thanks

I suppose the first thing I'd check is as you suggest the battery charge and alternator charging.
Could be over charging.
Which doesn't always throw a code or warning lamp.
Had a Renault in just past,
all kind of weird symptoms,
But his battery load tested as dead,
and the alternator was outputting over 15V.
Way too much,
new battery cured it.
