2002 Peugeot 307 loss of power stalling and jerking

Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2002
Variant: lx 1.6 automatic
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi there,

So i have a 2002 auto 307, pretty much since i have had it i have had issues with it cutting out, if i am on the motorway it seems to not want to go any faster and gradually the revs drop slowing me down, Although this hasn't happened for a while.

On a daily basis after about a half hour of driving if i am slowing down or pulling away, the Stop lights flashes up and the car dies on me, it will restart again first time and will drive fine for a while.

Aslo just recently the car whilst sitting at the lights seems like its shifting gears and then the minute i tray and pull away stalls.

Nothing ever happens while I'm stationary i can rev it with no issue.

Also no warning lights.

Please help lol

I would check and replace the plugs and coil pack if needed , could be breaking down under load .Also check the ATF level .

Hi there,

Thank you for your answers, i changed the plugs and coil pack around 3 months ago,

As for the ATF level would that cause the car to cut out with no warning lights?

Thankyou
