Engine cut off

2007 Peugeot 307 Semi auto
Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2007
Variant: Semi auto
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
A month after buying a used Peugeot 307 semi auto car,
I dropped my auntie at her work and had to pick her back. The fuel level was very low and diving about two miles in a traffic after I've fill the fuel tank, there was a sudden power cut. I stopped and restarted it again but when I try to push the accelerator, it cuts again . I stopped and waited for a while and later on when i tried starting the car, the engine warning light in front of the dashboard turns on and the power cuts off. But there is no fault warning shown apart from the engine sign.

get the code read .I suspect it could be a fuel pressure problem.

Thanks pauline but please where can I get the code read from? Because when I try starting the problem still persists and I see the engine vibrate with fumes from the exhaust pipe.

Mate sounds like you have put the wrong fuel in
Do you still have the receipt was if petrol or diesel.
If you have AA assistance they offer a service to empty the fuel

that sounds perfectly feasible!!

Thanks Buddies
It was a wrong fuel problem and has been solved now
After the aa team solved it the engines sign is on again and says anti pollution faulty. Could that also affect the cars performance please?

I would get a code read done to find out what it is but it is possible the rough running due to wrong fuel will have put the light on
