2006 Peugeot 307 how do i get water out of n/s headlight and headlight bulb keeps blowing.

Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2006
Variant: 2.0 HDI
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I have just bought this 307. The nearside headlight has condensation on the inside of the lens. How do I either remove the head light or dry it out. Also when I bought the car the seller said that he had just changed the near side dipped bulb but I now find that it is not working again. any ideas please.

You switch the headlight on and cover the outside of the lens with a towel and vent the rear by removing the cover this will help dry it out ,note care must be exercised when doing this to only apply the towel for brief spells whilst monitoring the heat generated ,as too much can damage the lamp. This may also be just a temporary fix as it,s probably not venting properly or their,s a sealing issue.

Remove the bulb and dry out with a hairdryer .

Thanks for your info, I will try it when it stops raining. Should I have to remove the headlight, what will be the easiest way ??.

From memory it,s quite easy to get that lamp out,it,s held in by a couple of screws, and you have to unclipped the front grill in order to remove it.
