Passenger footwell carpet soaking wet, but nowhere else.

2005 Peugeot 307 x-line
Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2005
Variant: x-line
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi All. I've recently noticed that the front passenger footwell carpet in my Peugeot 307 is very wet, but its only there and nowhere else in the car.

Any ideas where I should look to try and get rid of the problem?

Thanks.

1 Check the Door Seal for any problems there.

2 Check up along the Carpet where it runs up to and behind the Glovebox also behind it there to see if there ara any signs of water running down from the Bulkhead.

3. If it is a 5Dr also check the rear Door seal as it could be leaking there and running forward.

4. Also check the Water level in the Radiator Expansion Bottle - If the Heater Core or pipes were leaking within the Car the level would be down in the Bottle.

Best of luck.
