2002 Peugeot 307 headlights turn on there own

car head lights turn on and off with out warning even with the auto light switch disengaged also the temp gauge reads low temps giving ice alerts when the actual temp is in the high teens ?? this is driving me mad tried all the usual things like loose conections and fuses ect dont no what else to do as the auto electricians seem to want a fortune just to look !

Try disconnecting the battery for about 30 mins to see if it resets itself...
