2002 Peugeot 307 gas pedal not working

Hello!
I have a problem with my petrol 1.6 peugeot 307 sw.
from time to time my car don't react on my gas pedal.
Engine is working but nothing happens when i pus gas pedal.
My service said that pedal is ok! They also said that the "butterfly" - part that opens to gain more or less air in engine, could also be problem, but this part also seems to be ok - according to service.
Does anyone knows what could be a problem, and did someone had this kind of problem?

It could be a faulty carbretter or simply the air/petrol mixture ratio.
