2002 Peugeot 307 electrical problem

washed my car today then cleaned the drive to do this i jumped in car put key in ignition turned key to let steering lock off but did not start engine let handbrake off then just let it roll back , applied handbrake then cleaned drive ! when i came to move car back i put key in ignition and a loud bong came from dash , then a lot of clicking and interior light flashing and windscreen wipers moving about half an inch at a time ? tried to turn car over with no response so turned key off and disconected battery as would not stop making clicking and bonging noises ? can any one help ?

it may be a fault with your battery but you may have got water into the bsi.

As " paulieone " suggests , plus , either try a jump start or charge battery .
