2005 Peugeot 307 boot door opening on its own even when opening any other door

Problem started about a month ago. Whenever any of the doors are opened the boot opens on its own accord . I used to have a problem with the electric windows working erraticly but this has since stopped with the boot problem - are the two things connected in any way and if so does anyone know what the fault is
