2002 Peugeot 307 horn not working

Hi i purchased my peugeot a couple of months ago, it was a cat c in 2009. since having the car the horn has been troublesome when pressing the horn it doesnt work but repeatidley pressing it for about 20 second it works?.Is this electrical or somethin to do with it being in a collision if so could the airbag be affected etc any ideas ?

it could be a bad connection on the horn its self. or could be the airbag squib i would advise you to take it to a garage to get it looked at proply. is the air bag light on if so prob the squib

try cleaning the copper/brass looking ring (horn contact points thats behind the airbag

the solution is to remove the oxide on the alloy moulding behind the
drivers air bag.this is where the earth connection from the horn is
fitted into the alloy behind airbag.the full details of this fix can
be obtained from Honest John the Ford fixer on his web site,remove one
side of battery and allow two minutes for bosch cpu to shut down.
