1997 Peugeot 306 rear brake lights not working

the rear brake lights on both sides do not work,and reversing lights do not work,have replaced bulbs and checked fuses

Checked reverse light switch and brake light switch ?Could test by bridging wires .

where do i find the switches?

Brake pedal switch usually underneath at top of brake pedal .Reverse light switch usually on the top of the transmission casing / there abouts .

if the problem has happened at the same time it is unlikely the switchs are at fault and could be a wiring issue

Disassemble the tail light fittings - there are several metal contact strips that tend to corrode and cease passing current. Give them a bit of a clean up with emery paper and all should be OK til they corrode again (Years)
