Battery Light Flickering & Power Steering Fail

Have you had alternator output tested ? Also alternator wiring / plug .

Alternator out put tested and all is working fine as it should be. There is a slight delay before the alternator starts working from initital engine start, but have been told that is normal for a Diesel car.
Everything else on the alternator has been tested and working as it should be.
Someone said it could be the power steering fluid, which I will look at over the weekend. But not sure how viable a solution that is!..ANy thoughts?

is battery holding charge?have you had battery tested,also check the wiring from alternator to battery for high resistance

is the belt tight enough or are any of the pulleys beginning to seize ? take the belt off and spin the pulleys to see if they are free (no bearing noise)

it sounds like you have resistance in the hydraulic circuit or a steering /suspension component.with the front wheels off the ground how difficult is it to turn the steering from side to side without the engine running?also try with engine running any resistance will result in engine stalling
