when stoping vehical engine runs on for 20 seconds. next start engine management light on & max revs of 2000rpm . after a couple of starts light goes out & car runs ok

the engine managemant light can only be reset by a plug in diagnostics code reader the reason this comes on is to stop the engine being revved to hi and damaging some of its components there for it limits the revs that you can give it ie max 2000 revs as for the over run the car may want a tune by a tuning specialist which should sort out the overrun that you are expierencing and at the same time they should also be able to reset the management light and see what is causing the engine management to come on in the first place
