my pug 306 2.0l s16 was firing on 3 cylinders now and again i than changed the coil and went for a spin for an hour when i parked it up i had no problems than i went out again later and when i put it into reverse it cuts out i kept trying it but its still doing the same only seems to be doing it in reverse not any other gear can any one help me cheers rich

might be a vaccuum pipe split that opens up when the engine tilts forward as you release the clutch when in reverse. try checking all the pipes

still the same problem but now sometimes it works and sometimes doesnt seems like something has a loose connection i havnt yet tryed the pipes cheers rich

still cuts out in reverse but seems to be ok now and again seems like a loose connection or something any sensors i havnt yet tryed the pipes for leaks cheers rich
