1994 Peugeot 306 black smoke & high gasoline consumption

My peugeot 306 works OK but it consumes too much gasoline although it is a full injection.It also produces heavy black smoke to an extent that when I start it , a black circle is marked on the ground beneath the exhaust opening.The orange engine light is on most of the time. please I badly need a solution.

Get it scanned , could be many things on a car of that age .
