the airbag squib is falty on my 306 hdi d turbo.just wanted to know if the squib from a 306 hdi w reg would fit a y reg 306 hdi?

Check the 96 number on the airbag against the one you want to fit as long as this number matches you should be ok. BE CAREFUL though if you are unsure get a local garage to check it out.
