Warning light ,gear box fault
2013 Peugeot 3008 Desiel auto

I have a warning light that comes on Every now and then, goes off as soon as the car starts, had gear box oil changed 8 months ago, the car as don 106000 miles, it still works ok ,

As it's a sealed box only way to verify oil level is to drain it and refill with correct amount so that's ruled out . If running o.k all you can do is check any wiring . plugs for connection / possible water penetration . If intermittent doubt there would be any stored fault codes

Had diagnostic done at main dealers, charge £150 ,then told me it could be any one of 6 things, only way to know would be to do each one individually , at a vost of £3000 ,and still they would not guarantee they would silver it
