2013 Peugeot 208 automatic gearbox fault

So when I’m doing between 60-70mph my speedometer comes up with ‘Gearbox Fault’ and then the service light comes on. When I begin to slow down the car jolts and then just starts massively over revving. If I turn the ignition off and leave for a couple of minutes and turn back on everything is fine again

Too many possible causes to list , get it scanned for fault codes with suitable scanner that covers all modules / transmission and act on findings
