Hard to start if it has not been started for 3 or 4 days .It seems like it takes ages to pump up the petrol.

Without knowing the mileage , service history etc. hard to advise . Could check / replace plugs , air filter , fuel filter as needed . Also check battery cranking speed and possibly engine coolant temp sensor . If still having problems , check compressions .
