Car: Peugeot 106

Variant: 1.1i independence
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hey i have a problem with my pug 106, car runs fine apart from when i attempt to stop at lights or traffic at low revs in first gear or if im coasting in neautral, the car stalls, the power can be felt being drained and ive noticed the battery light flickers as its about to, i can manage to keep the car running by releasing an thn reapplying the brakes but doesnt always work. it does start straight back up but i really need to get this problem sorted so any advice would be appreciated :)

Check idle air control valve , try cleaning . If not sure where it is , this shows you the part .

as above, idle speed control valve.

after i drove it last night and today i found it only cuts out if its in neutral, if i slow though the gears and clutch down in first when stopping it doesnt stall. does this still point to the idle speed/air control valve ??
