Front passenger door won't lock anymore

My front passenger door will no longer lock, I have central locking & when I use the key fob all the doors lock except the front passenger door. This also happens when the car is locked from the inside, however if I lock the car from the outside with the key, the door can't be opened from the inside, but will still open from the outside. Any ideas?
