Offside front brake 'sticking'

1996 Nissan Micra 1.0
Car: Nissan Micra
Year: 1996
Variant: 1.0
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi there

My front offside brake is 'sticking' sometimes and can get burning smell. I have to park regularly on a steep hill if that is of any significance.Wheel is not moving freely when jacked up. Is there a straightforward solution as I don't have much experience with cars

Need to remove brake calliper and put a little copper grease on all sliding and moving parts. This should stop calliper from sticking on.

Check piston and pads are moving freely in calliper and if not that check the flexible hose which can collapse inside and restrict flow of brake fluid back , thereby holding pads on .
