1995 Nissan Micra loses performance

when driving for about 20 mins the car seem's to lose performance and struggles at 30 mph a feels like its goin to stop, can any one help me pls

sound slike a fuel problem i would replace the fuel filter and maybe give the car a service as these car dont really suffer much to be honest but do give the car a service and will run fine again
