All indicators lights not working

2002 Nissan Micra S
Car: Nissan Micra
Year: 2002
Variant: S
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I was driving to my local shop this morning
suddenly noticed that none of my cars directional indicators are working. It was
o.k in the morning when I left home.
I checked the 10amps fuse inside the car
fuse box( inside car) and found o.k.
Could anyone help what it could be? If it is a RELAY, where this relay is located & how to repair this relay?

Regards
Kamrul

I'm pretty sure that you will find the flasher unit underneath the steering wheel (no need to remove the fuse box cover.)

Stick your hand underneath the steering wheel and you will find a cable cover about an inch in diameter, follow this behind the dashboard and you will feel a flat metal bar sticking out, on the end of which is the flasher unit.

You may need to bend the metal bar a bit, (or remove the fuse box and the top left relay to gain access to the top of the unit), and a thin metal screwdriver will fit in the "notch" of the metal.

Ultimately its very easy to do, just a bit fiddly. (but on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say its a 1.5!!!)
